Our house faces West, so any snowman built in the front yard doesn’t stand much
of a chance. I haven’t met a snowman I haven’t liked - from the animated “Frosty”,
to “Calvin and Hobbes”, and Margaret Shulock’s, but of course the best ones are the
ones made by kids – loopy stick arms, no eyes, etc. This one was made by an alleged
grown up, me.

I love the way the nose is one of the last things to go. For some reason he looks rather penguin-esque at the end.

Yes, I was struck by how much he resembled human aging too. As the body shrinks, the nose appears larger. He’s stooped forward. He’s had to quit smoking.

So cute, Isy! He’s probably just a puddle by now. Love your analogy!
